E-REDES reports that on 6 September, the parish of Quinta do Anjo, in Palmela, will experience a power outage between 5am and 10am. Also on the same day, in Mafra, the parish of Santo Isidoro will be without electricity between 6am and 11:30am, this being the longest intervention.

Further south, in the parish of Vila Nova de Milfontes, a service interruption is planned between 7am and 11am.

Although outages in certain parishes are scheduled, this does not mean the entire locality will be in the dark; the outage may affect only one street. In this sense, E-REDES states that the scheduled interruptions may affect approximately 2000 customers.

Reasons for interruptions

Interruptions occur because maintenance, conservation, repair, or reinforcement work is needed on the electrical network. To maintain the safety of the work being carried out, E-REDES chooses to cut off the electricity supply.

Customers who may be affected will be informed by SMS or email, provided that their contact information is available on the E-REDES data network.
