On the road, a FlixBus bus was on fire. Upon encountering the situation, the military personnel stopped their journey and helped to remove 43 passengers and the driver moments before the vehicle was engulfed in flames.

Reports from Correio da Manhã indicate that the military personnel immobilised their vehicles and marked the location, ensuring the safety of other drivers on the Northern Highway. At the same time, the military assisted passengers while evacuating the bus.

During the operation, the military also removed the passengers' personal belongings and used fire extinguishers transported in Army vehicles to contain the spread of the flames.

The speed of the military intervention was crucial, as the flames quickly engulfed the vehicle. The rescue mission ended without injuries.

Despite the military presence, GNR (National Republican Guard) officers and firefighters also arrived at the scene. However, by the time they arrived, rescue efforts were already complete, and no passengers were in danger.

The Army soldiers reportedly left the area only after the firefighters extinguished the fire, with the GNR taking charge of organising traffic on that section of the A1 highway.
