On 20 November 2026, the Centro de Congressos de Lagoa will welcome the first edition of the Algarve Real Estate Summit, a new event created to bring together the people, companies and ideas shaping the future of one of Portugal's most international regions.
Under the concept LIVING | INVESTING | CONNECTING, the Summit will welcome real estate professionals, investors, developers, entrepreneurs, financial specialists, hospitality and tourism leaders, companies and decision-makers from Portugal and international markets.
But it is not exclusively an industry event. The Summit is open to everyone — whether you work in real estate, are considering buying or investing, follow the market or simply have an interest in the future of the Algarve.
More than another real estate conference
The idea behind the Summit came from something its Founder, Vladlena Serra, felt was still missing in the region: a place capable of bringing the different sides of the market together.
“The Algarve has incredible professionals, investors, developers and businesses, but I felt we were missing a space where all these people could sit at the same table. A place where we could talk about the market as it really is — what is working, the challenges we are facing and, most importantly, what comes next.”
Rather than a traditional real estate fair, the Summit has been designed around dynamic talk shows, debates and real conversations, connecting real estate with investment, construction, financing, tourism, hospitality, technology and international markets.
From the Algarve to the world
The programme begins by looking at Portugal and the Algarve, with conversations around the evolution of the property market, investment, housing, construction and financing, as well as the changing role of real estate professionals.
In the afternoon, the conversation becomes international.
Dubai will take the stage to explore what is driving one of the world's most dynamic property markets, how it attracts global investment, the role of developers and what the Algarve might learn from a very different real estate model.

The Summit will also look towards the United States and the MLS model, opening a discussion around cooperation between professionals, information sharing and different approaches to how the real estate industry operates.
Different markets. Different models. But increasingly, the same global investor.
The Next Algarve
The international conversations will ultimately lead back to the region itself with one of the key questions of the day:
Why does the world keep looking at the Algarve?
The Algarve has spent decades building an international reputation as a destination to visit, live and invest. The question now is what comes next.
How can the region continue attracting international residents, investors, businesses and visitors while protecting the identity, quality and lifestyle that made it desirable in the first place?
The closing conversation will bring together different perspectives on tourism, hospitality, development and real estate to discuss the long-term future and international positioning of the Algarve.

You don't have to work in real estate to be part of the conversation.
The Summit welcomes professionals, property owners, buyers, investors, entrepreneurs and anyone interested in real estate, architecture, tourism, international markets or the evolution of the Algarve.
For professionals, it offers an opportunity to exchange knowledge and connect with potential partners and clients. For the wider public, it is a chance to hear directly from people operating within the market and better understand what is happening in the Algarve, Portugal and abroad.
Networking will be part of the experience throughout the day, before the conference transitions into a Sunset networking experience, creating a more informal environment for conversations and connections to continue.
A Summit built through partnerships
The first edition is being developed alongside a growing network of businesses and institutions, including Heaven Properties, Logic Properties, MConcept, Brava Properties, DS Créditos e Seguros, Vanguard Lawyers, EGO Real Estate and Moomi Atelier, together with Câmara Municipal de Lagoa, Turismo do Algarve, APMLS and APPII, among other partners.
These partnerships reflect the philosophy of the Summit: bringing different industries, expertise and perspectives into the same ecosystem.
