With the championship titles still undecided, the last race of the season will determine this year's winners.
The event, known as the 4 Hours of Portimão, brings together 47 cars, 140 drivers and 30 teams representing 29 countries, with all four championship titles still up for grabs.
The European Le Mans Series confirmed that the final race of the season will also be a home event for Algarve Pro Racing, as well as Portuguese drivers Manuel Espírito Santo and José Fernandes Cautela.
The weekend programme began on Thursday, 8 October, with free practice sessions, while Friday is dedicated to further practice and qualifying. The main four-hour race is scheduled for Saturday, starting at 2:30 pm.
The event features several racing categories, including LMP2, LMP2 Pro/Am, LMP3 and LMGT3, with teams competing for their final championship points of the year.
In the LMP2 category, the title will be decided between United Autosports and Forestier Racing by Panis. Two automatic invitations to the 2027 24 Hours of Le Mans are also at stake.
Visitors can enjoy more than the main race, as the weekend programme also includes the Michelin Le Mans Cup and Ligier European Series.
Tickets start at €8, while children under 16 can enter free of charge when accompanied by an adult, according to the Municipality of Portimão.
The 4 Hours of Portimão marks the conclusion of the European Le Mans Series season, following previous rounds in Barcelona, Le Castellet, Imola, Spa-Francorchamps and Silverstone.
