As a young artist, Sofia shows her dedication to music and a will to innovate on stage; she integrates techniques beyond the conventional, like “Rhythm with Signs” inviting her audience to sing along.

Her musical career can be traced back to when she recorded “Bailarina” with her father, Rodrigo Leão, when she was 13. Her first album, “Mar” is composed from a solo process of creation accompanied by friends and then with the support of João Eleutério in the studio.

“Mar” is described by Sofia as a self-discovery journey, allowing her to “set sail for the sea” and explore what is meaningful for her to release to her audience.
