What is Forest Bathing?

Based on the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku which means to immerse oneself in the atmosphere of the forest. Forest bathing is a slow, mindful walk that deepens a connection to the awe and wonder of nature and aids in relaxation. There are many health benefits to spending time in nature and research has shown breathing in the organic compounds emitted by trees, clean air and being in natural light can boost the immune system, help improve sleep, and reduce stress.
