In the same post, the agency says it only carried out "the annual update foreseen in Ordinance No. 307/2023, of 13 October."

The price update came into effect on 1 March 2026, and, according to AIMA, "results exclusively from the application of the criteria defined in the Ordinance, especially in Article 3."

The agency emphasises that this is a "technical and mandatory update, resulting from compliance with the law, and does not correspond to a discretionary decision by AIMA or any extraordinary increase."
