According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), the districts of Bragança, Viseu, Guarda and Vila Real will be under a yellow warning between 3 pm on 13 June and midnight on 14 June.
Sea agitation
IPMA also placed the district of Faro under a yellow warning due to strong sea agitation until noon on 13 June.
High temperatures
Due to the hot weather, IPMA issued a yellow warning for all districts of mainland Portugal until 9 pm on 13 June.
Mainland Portugal will experience high temperatures until 13 June, with maximum temperatures ranging between 30 and 37 degrees Celsius, possibly reaching 38 to 40 degrees in some locations in Alentejo, Ribatejo and the Douro River valley.
