The vast, historic expanse of Praça do Comércio has completely transformed into an open-air stadium of collective passion.

Running from 11 June until 19 July, the iconic waterfront square is hosting the Lisbon Football Arena, the city's official, free-admission fan zone dedicated to broadcasting the global tournament.

Sitting between the beautiful old-world buildings that surround the square and watching the games with thousands of fans is a marvellous experience!

Rather than just a simple screen placement, the venue is a massive, dynamic social space. Equipped with an enormous high-definition display, a sprawling street food court, and lively beer gardens, it keeps the festive energy thriving before and after the matches.

The electric atmosphere reaches its absolute peak during Portugal’s fixtures, when thousands of flags wave against the backdrop of the Tagus River. To stand amidst the roaring crowd here is to contemplate the unparalleled power of sport to unite a city.

Portugal's next matches are on 23 June at 6pm (Portugal time) against Uzbekistan and on 28 June at 00:30am against Colombia.
