Located just 30 minutes from Faro Airport and overlooking the Els Club Vilamoura golf course, the resort is introducing several additions aimed at both hotel guests and local residents.

The centrepiece of this year's summer programme is the new Botanic Terrace, a rooftop bar that opened on 6 June. Situated on the hotel's second floor, the open-air venue offers panoramic views across the golf course and the surrounding landscape. Open daily from 6pm until midnight, the terrace serves cocktails, wines, champagnes and light bites, positioning itself as a new sunset destination in Vilamoura.

The resort's main restaurant, RIA, has also launched a new seasonal menu created by chef Anabela Francisco. Inspired by the Algarve coast and the flavours of the Ria Formosa, the menu focuses on fresh fish and seafood alongside vegetarian dishes and sharing plates. Weekly barbecue nights have also returned, taking place from Tuesday to Saturday, with live music on Thursdays.

Meanwhile, Sensai restaurant has reopened for the summer season. Led by chef Rui Viegas, the restaurant draws inspiration from Thailand and other Asian culinary traditions, offering dishes such as Thai curries, bao buns and Japanese-inspired specialities. Guests can also experience an omakase menu curated by sushi chef Fábio Terada, featuring seasonal Algarve seafood prepared using traditional Japanese techniques.

Families remain a key focus for the resort. The Kid’s Club has reopened with a programme of games, workshops, and outdoor activities for children aged 4 to 11. Family-friendly facilities include dedicated children's pools, kids' menus across all restaurants and a variety of accommodation options designed for those travelling with younger guests.

The summer launch comes as the Algarve continues to improve its international connectivity, with direct flights operating from several major European cities and United Airlines resuming its seasonal service between Newark and Faro.
