A great night was had by performers and diners alike at Lobos restaurant in Dunas Douradas on Friday, 26th of June, whilst raising over €8,000 for local good causes.

The evening began with cocktails and canapés as guests enjoyed music by the Salvation Army brass band. This starter was followed by a feast of food and music with the 3 Buskerteers, featuring a side order of songs by the Campus Choir.

The entertainment continued with a prize raffle and auction, including many donations from local businesses and individuals. A huge thanks to all who contributed; you are too many to mention.

The evening progressed to dancing to the music of the 3 Buskerteers with Julia

Hammond provides the lead vocal, accompanied by Roger Guppy and Barbara Leitch on guitars and backing vocals.

Special thanks go to the staff at Lobos for hosting the event and Julia Hammond, without whom none of this would be possible.

The evening raised over €8,000, with the main beneficiaries being local families and children in need of support, through the good work of the Salvation Army. The animal charity Streetlife will also benefit from the night.

If you missed this musical extravaganza, don’t worry; there will be another opportunity to hear Julia, the band and the choir later in the year. Watch this space!
