The Silves Beer Fest is back at Praça Al-Mutamid, which, according to the municipality, is consolidating itself "as one of the benchmark summer events in the municipality."

Visitors can expect "music, gastronomy, craft beer and entertainment for all ages to mark another edition of the festival, which will be open daily from 6 pm to 1 am."

In a press release, the Silves City Hall also reveals that the festival is organised in conjunction with Silves Futebol Clube and with the support of the Silves Parish Council. As always, "the festival stands out for the diversity of its programming, designed to provide moments of conviviality, discovery and entertainment for the population and visitors."

During the five days of the event, the public will be able to “enjoy an entertainment program designed for different musical tastes, which includes cover and tribute bands, ethnically inspired sounds, Portuguese folk music, rock in different styles, moments of humour and traditional comedy, as well as DJ performances throughout the event.”

In addition to the music, the Silves Beer Fest will have a wide range of food options, craft beers and a Fun Zone dedicated to children.

Officially, the event will begin on 14 July at 7 pm.
