The new facility currently has an initial capacity for 54 motorhomes, with plans already in place to increase the number of available spaces in the near future.
In a press release, the company detailed that the new site offers essential services for this type of travel, including potable water supply, waste disposal systems, electricity, and security monitoring.
Additional amenities
The facility also features additional amenities, such as washing machines and dryers (available for an extra fee), with Wi-Fi internet access scheduled to be installed soon. The overnight rate is set at 20 euros, and the booking process is handled centrally via the operator's website or mobile app.
Rui Monteiro, manager of Camping-Car Park Portugal, highlighted the site's strategic location, describing Quinta Santo Anjo as an "ideal starting point for discovering the best of the Algarve."
He emphasised that the location offers proximity to the village and beach of Burgau, combining "tranquillity, a connection with nature, and easy access to beaches and the area's main tourist attractions."
Second venture
This opening marks the brand's second venture along the Portuguese coast, following the inauguration of the Costa de Lavos service area.
With the addition of this new Algarve location, Camping-Car Park increases its total capacity in Portugal to 172 spaces, distributed across four operational sites: Pinhel (23), Penacova (32), Lavos (63), and Lagos (54).
At the European level, the group independently manages over 700 service areas through a partnership model with private entities and municipalities, handling full management, maintenance, and customer support services.
