After winning international audiences with Rabo de Peixe, the Portuguese actor is set to appear in a brand-new period thriller, "The Final Problem", arriving on the streaming platform on 25 September.

Inspired by the bestselling 2023 novel by Arturo Pérez-Reverte, the five-part Spanish miniseries blends mystery, suspense, and classic detective storytelling.

The story unfolds in the spring of 1959, when a violent storm leaves 13 strangers stranded in an isolated hotel on an island near Mallorca. What begins as an unexpected delay quickly turns into a nightmare after one of the guests is found dead in her room.

At first, the death appears to be a suicide. But as evidence starts pointing towards murder, panic spreads through the hotel. With no way to leave the island and no one able to reach them, every guest and member of staff becomes a potential suspect.

The investigation falls to Benjamin Basil (José Coronado), a retired actor famous for once playing Sherlock Holmes, who joins forces with a young crime novelist to uncover the truth before the killer strikes again.

Alongside José Condessa, the cast includes José Coronado, María Valverde, Martiño Rivas and Maribel Verdú.
