One thing I always find interesting is the contrast. If you walk through one of the coastal towns in the afternoon, the streets can feel surprisingly quiet because almost everyone is at the beach. But come 9pm, everything changes. The atmosphere becomes lively, the promenades fill with people, local restaurants are full, and families, couples and groups of friends are all out enjoying the cooler evening air.

There's something really special about seeing the Algarve full of life again each summer.

Our video was filmed in Armação de Pêra, a town that's lovely all year round. But this kind of atmosphere, with the streets full of people and such a vibrant energy, is something you really only experience during July and August.
