“It’s a positive assessment. Things went well inside the venue, and there was strong participation,” said the president of the Faro Motorcycle Club, the event's organising entity, Pedro Baptista, in statements to the Lusa news agency.

The 44th Faro International Motorcycle Rally, which began on 16 July in Vale das Almas, Faro, came to an end with the traditional motorcycle parade this morning and the awards ceremony in the early afternoon.

This year, according to the president of the Faro Motorcycle Club, the number of people “was more or less within the same range as last year”, that is, “within the 17,000”.


“The shows were very well attended, with many people watching,” he noted, also highlighting that Thursday [16 July] night, dedicated to the local public and with an entrance fee of €10, “was once again a success.”

“People left here happy, which is the most important thing, and now I hope everyone gets home safely,” he stressed.

As for the next edition, Pedro Baptista revealed that the Faro Rally will return between 15 and 18 July 2027, to mark its 45th anniversary.

“In this type of event, editions that are multiples of five are always a historical milestone, and next year's will be a success,” he added.

Over the four days, the event featured performances by Portuguese artists Xutos & Pontapés, Rui Veloso, UHF, HMB, and David Antunes, Spanish artists Mojinos Escozios, and British artists UB40.
