The Total Eclipse of the Heart singer died "unexpectedly" on 8 July, aged 75, at a hospital in Portugal, "as a result of the illness that she was being treated for", her family said.

The funeral will take place at St Mary’s Church, Swansea, on 17 August, which will be livestreamed on Bonnie Tyler’s official website. Tyler will then go to her hometown of Skewen, Neath Port Talbot, and travel around the village at 1:20 pm, as mentioned on her website.

The funeral may also be seen on television screens placed outside the church, allowing everyone around to witness the moment.

Paying tribute

Before the funeral, the coffin will be placed in her Mumbles home on 15 August at 3:30 pm BST, and people are also invited to pay tribute to the Holding Out For A Hero singer.
