Brasa Coastal Steakhouse, located at the Hyatt Regency Vilamoura has launched a new series of themed dinner evenings, giving guests and visitors the chance to enjoy a different cuisine depending on the day of the week.
Running until the beginning of September, the new concept invites diners to explore flavours from around the world without leaving the Algarve. Each evening focuses on a different culinary theme, giving guests a reason to return and try something new.
Wednesdays are inspired by Tex-Mex cuisine, with favourites such as tacos, fajitas, quesadillas and freshly prepared salsas. Thursdays are dedicated to barbecue, featuring a selection of grilled meats served with classic side dishes, while Saturdays celebrate Algarve cuisine with regional seafood, traditional meat dishes and desserts made with local ingredients including almonds, figs and carob.

We visited last Friday, when the spotlight was on Italy. The buffet included everything from antipasti and fresh pasta to pizzas, risottos and classic desserts. Having so many dishes to choose from made it easy to sample a little of everything, and it turned into a relaxed evening spent enjoying good food at our own pace.
The themed dinners take place between 6 pm and 11 pm throughout the summer and are designed to offer a different experience depending on the day of the week. Whether you're in the mood for Mexican-inspired flavours, a barbecue feast, Italian favourites or traditional Algarve dishes, each evening brings a new menu.
The buffet is priced at €35 per person, excluding drinks. Children up to the age of 12 dine free when accompanied by a paying adult, with one complimentary child per adult.
Although we only experienced the Italian evening, it's an interesting concept for anyone spending a few days in Vilamoura, especially as each visit can offer something completely different.
