The alliance aims to strengthen the link between academia and the labour market through the Higher Professional Technical Course (CTeSP) in Aircraft Repair and Maintenance, a program designed with a strong practical focus and a commitment to meeting high employability standards.

The cooperation project goes beyond offering curricular internships; it involves the redesign and joint creation of educational programs aligned with the industry’s current technological demands, particularly in areas such as automation, artificial intelligence, digital transition, and data processing. This technological component also extends to the Computer Engineering degree program taught in Viseu, integrating it into the skills development plan.

The agreement was formalised during an institutional visit by Instituto Piaget to Ryanair Engineering’s facilities at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in Porto.

During the visit, Patrícia Silva, the airline’s Human Resources coordinator for Portugal, reaffirmed the group’s commitment to supporting future technicians from their training phase onwards, ensuring prospects for professional growth within the company’s ecosystem.
