It was created in 2006 by SCOCS (Sport Clube Operário de Cem Soldos), a local cultural and sports association, and has grown into one of Portugal’s most well-known community‑based festivals.

The first edition was born from an anniversary party for SCOCS, founded in 1981, and the idea was to bring music and culture to a village that many people didn’t even know existed.


Over the years, the festival has kept its core identity: an exclusive focus on Portuguese music, covering all genres and generations, from traditional and folk to rock, pop, electronic and experimental.

The 13th edition in 2026 (6–9 August) celebrates 20 years of the festival under the theme of “resistance”, understood as persistence, adaptability and collective strength.
