On Saturday, a Louis Vuitton bag and another bag containing over 700 euros were stolen from two tourists in a commercial establishment on Rua Alexandre Herculano, in Porto, CNN Portugal reports.

The PSP (Public Security Police) announced Tuesday that they had arrested three alleged pickpockets, one aged 26 and two aged 36, for stealing “a Louis Vuitton bag, AirPods, sunglasses, a camera, and a bag containing 705 euros, as well as a mobile phone and sunglasses” from two tourists, aged 22 and 62.

The suspects were reportedly intercepted a few metres away and in possession of the items, according to a statement from the police. Once the victims had realised the theft, it was possible for the police to track down the pickpockets through the location of the AirPods, accompanied by the victim’s description of the suspects.

The three men were brought before the judicial authorities and were required to report daily to the judicial authorities in the area of their residence.
