If in March it was named Portugal's best spa at the Best Spa Resort Awards, on 24 September it received the title of Best Spa Service in the World at the World Spa Awards.

The space is located in Porches, in the municipality of Lagoa, in the Algarve, within the Vila Vita Parc resort. The space considers itself a "wellness sanctuary," where its guests can disconnect from stress and the outside world. The space comprises 14 rooms.

The space offers various treatments, including techniques that improve skin appearance and combat cellulite. It also offers regenerative medicine treatments for injury recovery, as well as aesthetic treatments, including intimate health.

The space also says that Vila Vita Spa stands out for having a vast diversity and specialisation, which integrates various types of treatment, including meditation, sound healing, and mindfulness sessions, in order to balance body and mind. Thus, Vila Vita Spa was recognised with one of the most prestigious awards in the sector, which requires voting by industry professionals and consumers from around the world.
