The initiative is led by manufacturer Lam Soon and startup Ecoworks. Lam Soon invested S$1 million in Ecoworks to develop the refill network, with stations already operating at two university campuses and a community centre. The expansion comes as Singapore seeks to improve recycling rates, with the refill model designed to reduce single-use packaging before it becomes waste.
