There are many more forms of ceramics that are a staple of Portuguese culture.
And these come in all shapes, forms, and sizes. From huge fish, frogs, or cats to incredible vases, cups, and plates. The ceramic culture in Portugal has treasures for everyone.
Depending on where you are in the country, there are even regional differences in the types of ceramics that you can find. Vista Alegre, for example, used to be the place where the royal ceramics were produced. Therefore, you can find more prestigious ceramics there. While smaller towns in Alentejo may feature more earthy and rural ceramics.
Have you already started collecting or using some Portuguese ceramics? Or are you going to start by presenting someone you love with ceramics as a beautiful Christmas present?
