Taking place on May 7, the one-day summit is expected to bring together individuals and families already living in Portugal, primarily in the Lisbon area. Many are no longer asking where to move, but how to make it a success once they have.

Attendees include families managing life between countries, individuals restructuring their tax position, and expats trying to reconcile opportunity with stability. The conversations are expected to be grounded in lived experience, not theory.

The event organiser, Compass Global Events director, Talli Fisher told “Portugal News” that the event is meant to both cover the practical aspects of settling in, such as VISAs and immigration, but also touch the deeper issues such as managing a sense of identity as an expat and recognising the opportunities this lifestyle offers.

The practical part will include experts in the fields of tax, immigration, healthcare, real estate, education and finance.

The deeper part will include discussions of physical and emotional well-being and shifting identity.

The event will have great networking opportunity and an unusual chance to have a picnic lunch (provided by the organisers) next to the river.

The event is nearly sold out, but it is offering a limited last minute offer to Portugal News readers. Code: PN15 at the checkout will provide a 15% discount
