The 22 countries condemn the attacks carried out in Europe, North America, and Australia by Iranian state entities against Iranian dissidents, journalists, or members of Jewish and Israeli communities in those territories.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran must immediately cease these acts," they write, according to the text, published by the Foreign Ministries of France and the United Kingdom.

The group of countries, which also includes Germany, Belgium, and Canada, "condemns attempted murder and other malicious actions carried out in Europe, North America, and Australia by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, intelligence services, the Quds Force, and the Iranian Ministry of Information and Security."

The countries also denounce "the recent campaign of attacks carried out in Europe against Jewish communities, Iranian journalists and American interests, claimed by the group Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya (HAYI) and supported by its intermediaries."

HAYI, a pro-Iranian Islamist group, claimed responsibility for arson and a knife attack in London against two Jewish men in April, as well as other acts elsewhere in Europe since the start of the war in the Middle East.
