For regions at extreme risk, the institute recommends avoiding sun exposure whenever possible.

In regions with very high risk, the IPMA advises wearing sunglasses with a UV filter, a hat, a t-shirt, a parasol, and sunscreen, and avoiding children's exposure to the sun.

For regions with high risk, the use of sunglasses with a UV filter, a hat, a t-shirt and sunscreen is recommended.
