“In addition to the new restaurant with a terrace, the landscaping project also included the planting of new trees, reinforcing the environmental component and harmonious integration into the natural surroundings of the Almaceda river beach,” explained the Castelo Branco City Council.

The new infrastructure was financed by Turismo de Portugal and the municipality of Castelo Branco.

The main objective of the project was the requalification and enhancement of one of the most important natural spaces in the municipality, providing it with improved comfort, hospitality, and functionality for residents and visitors.

“This is an infrastructure well integrated into the surrounding area and the preservation of the environment, now offering better conditions for those who live in and visit Almaceda,” emphasised the Mayor of Castelo Branco.

Leopoldo Rodrigues emphasised that this new bar will increase the number of people in the bathing area and improve its operating conditions.

The president of the Almaceda Parish Council, Gabriel Martins, considered that the new facility "stems from the desire to make the place more welcoming and functional, guaranteeing better conditions for those who visit the parish."
