According to a statement from Theatro Circo, the duo will present "a complete sonic retrospective covering all five seasons of the “Stranger Things” series in Braga, work for which they won an Emmy and received two Grammy nominations.
According to the schedule for the final four months of the year, released today, the Cesária Évora Orchestra will make its Braga debut on 12 September, featuring Ceuzany, Elida Almeida, Lucibela, and Teófilo Chantre, alongside "many of the original musicians who accompanied the Cape Verdean artist."
Also in September, Teatro Circo will host Sensible Soccers (who will present a new album) and Gisela João, followed by Glockenwise in October.
On 16 October, the “Clube Raiz” series presents Vitorino, Janita, and João Paulo Esteves with the Grupo de Cantadores do Redondo, while the Sinfonietta de Braga takes the stage on the 21st of the same month.
In November, Teatro Circo hosts the previously announced return of Lambchop to Portugal; the Orquestra de Novas Criações, Experimentações e Música Improvisada will premiere two pieces by Caterina Barbieri and Éliane Radigue (1932–2026); and a concert by the Remix Ensemble is scheduled for December.
The “Paraíso” series, taking place on September 11 and 12, will be curated by BANTUMEN, CONCILIARE, and Kitty Furtado.
The remainder of the year also sees the return of the Semibreve festival in October and the Encontros da Imagem event.
The program also includes performances by Raquel Lima, Mercedes Quijada, Maria Leite Soares, Raquel André, Vítor Hugo Pontes with Companhia Maior, and Marlene Monteiro Freitas, among many others.
