The show, "D. Roberto e a Cápsula do Ambiente" ("D. Roberto and the Environmental Capsule"), combines traditional puppetry with an environmental message, making it suitable for audiences of all ages. According to the Municipality of Lagoa, audiences will follow the well-known character D. Roberto as he meets the "Guardian of the Environmental Capsule" and, together with a dragon and a sea bass, explores topics such as recycling, marine pollution, and plastic consumption.

The tour started in June and continues with performances from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Carvoeiro Beach on 3 July, Vale Centeanes Beach on 17 July, Praia Grande on 31 July, Senhora da Rocha Beach on 13 August, and Vale do Olival Beach on 25 September.

Dom Roberto is Portugal's traditional glove puppet theatre, a centuries-old form of folk entertainment recognised as part of the country's cultural heritage. The performances offer families the opportunity to discover this unique tradition and learn about protecting the environment through an entertaining, interactive show.
