Train of storms

Portugal was hit by a train of storms earlier this year. At least 19 people died in Portugal between the end of January and the beginning of March following the passage of depressions Kristin, Leonardo and Marta, which also left several hundred injured, displaced and displaced. The storms, which hit the mainland for about three weeks, especially in the Central, Lisbon and Tagus Valley and Alentejo regions, caused the total or partial destruction of thousands of homes, businesses and equipment, the fall of trees and structures, the interruption of electricity, water and communications, floods and inundations, with losses exceeding five billion euros.
