A source from the sub-regional command of Alto Tâmega and Barroso told Lusa, at 06:45, that the fire in the Valpaços area remains "active".
According to information available on the website of the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC), 439 firefighters and 140 vehicles are mobilised at the fire site. The fire started in Ervões, in the municipality of Valpaços, at 3 pm on 28 July.
This fire is the only one active at 07:00, according to data from ANEPC.
During the early morning, the fire in Guarda, which broke out on Monday, was brought under control.
