Local press in Madeira stated that the Boeing 787 Dreamliner from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was already testing the procedures for landing the aircraft, as one of the most complicated airports in the world has never hosted such a large aeroplane.
As announced, the Saudi Arabian prince would stay in Madeira from 13 August until 22 August, with the PSP already preparing a security operation at the airport for the arrival of the Prince and his guests.
Nevertheless, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner is now parked at Faro Airport, with no information about it. Does this mean that, before getting to know Cristiano Ronaldo’s hometown, Mohammed bin Salman wanted to visit the Algarve first?
The Portugal News tried to contact Ana Aeroportos, but no answer was received by the time of the publication of this article.
