The vice-president, Olga Brás, told journalists at the end of the extraordinary meeting, where she substituted for the president, Pedro Santana Lopes.

The properties to be completed by the end of the year are part of the municipal housing investment of approximately 24 million euros, the mayor said.

According to the vice-president, there are also three housing projects that fall under the PRR, which were completed at the end of August, and will be financed, under the same terms, by the European Investment Bank (EIB), through a loan from the Portuguese State, and which will be developed during the next year.

This involves 70 homes, with an investment of approximately €5 million.

In the health sector, the municipality of Figueira da Foz will also transfer the construction of health centres in Tavarede and Maiorca to the EIB (European Investment Bank).
