The districts of Bragança, Viseu, Évora, Guarda, Faro, Vila Real, Setúbal, Beja, Castelo Branco, and Portalegre will be under a yellow warning between 9:0am today and 6:00 pm on Wednesday.
Due to the hot weather, the IPMA has also placed the mountainous regions of Madeira Island under an orange warning from 9:00 am today until 6:00 pm on Wednesday, then changing to yellow until 6:00 pm on Thursday.
The south coast of Madeira Island will also be under a yellow warning from 9:00 a.m. today until 6:00 p.m. Thursday due to persistent high maximum temperatures.
The IPMA has also placed the western (Flores and Corvo) and central (Faial, Terceira, S. Jorge, Graciosa, and Pico) groups of the Azores under a yellow warning due to the forecast of sometimes heavy rain, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms.
In the western group, the warning will be in effect until 9:00 a.m. today and in the central group until 9:00 p.m. today.
