Monday - Day
Cloud cover will continue to break up throughout this afternoon, leaving a day of sunny spells, though fog may linger near some southern and eastern coasts. A scattering of isolated showers will also develop, mostly during the afternoon hours. Highest temperatures of 13 to 18 degrees, highest in the midwest and coolest along southern and eastern coasts due to light to moderate onshore breezes.
Monday - Night
A dry and clear start to the night, in light southeast breezes, mist and fog will set in, turning dense in parts. Low cloud will also increase along coastal counties of Leinster where patchy drizzle may develop at times locally. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees, but potentially a little cooler where clear spells persist.
Tuesday - Day
Any remaining mist and fog will clear through the morning to leave a mostly dry sunny day although a few isolated light showers are possible in the west. Moderate easterly breezes will keep temperatures in the east between 11 and 15 degrees, reaching 16 to 18 degrees in the west.
Tuesday - Night
Generally, dry and clear in moderate easterly breezes, sea fog will affect eastern and southern coastal areas. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees.
Wednesday - Day
A cloudy day overall with spells of isolated showers in the morning, sunny spells will develop in most parts during the afternoon with showers persisting in the south. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees, in mostly moderate easterly breezes.
Wednesday - Night
Any remaining showers in the south will gradually die out overnight with good clear spells elsewhere. Lowest temperatures between 4 and 8 degrees in mostly moderate easterly winds, fresh at times in the south.
Thursday - Day
Dry sunny conditions for Thursday with moderate easterly winds once again dictating the tempertures; highest temperatures in the east between 11 and 13 degrees, and up to between 14 and 16 degrees in the west.
Thursday - Night
Mostly dry and clear with lowest temperatures between 2 and 6 degrees with light to moderate easterly winds.
Friday
Current indications for Friday suggest a cloudy day with a chance of showers, highest temperatures between 11 in the east and 15 degrees in the northwest in moderate to fresh east winds.
