"Congratulations, champions", wrote the Portuguese international, moments after Benfica lost at the Estádio Municipal de Famalicão, 2-0, following goals from Puma Rodríguez and Zaydou Youssouf.
The 39-year-old striker currently plays for Al Nassr, in Saudi Arabia, but continues to make it clear that Sporting Lisbon continues to be close to his heart.
