The initiative, in response to the high mobility observed in recent days, aims to facilitate recovery efforts in locations where rail service remains disrupted.
The discount is valid until next Wednesday for journeys to:
Leiria, Marinha Grande e Pombal; Fátima, Santarém e Torres Novas; Castelo Branco.
According to Nelson Silva, the company's general manager, the measure aims to channel the "remarkable solidarity" of the Portuguese people by simplifying travel for those seeking to provide direct assistance in the most affected regions.
