Armação de Pêra has been our favourite town in the Algarve since we moved here. It still feels very authentic and remains especially popular among Portuguese tourists.

In the summer, the beach gets really crowded, which is why our favourite time to visit is spring. We love taking a walk along the promenade and continuing through Armação all the way to the start of the wooden trail leading to Praia da Galé in Albufeira.

Life has definitely become busier since we moved here, but whenever we have the time, we always like to come back and spend a tranquil afternoon in this coastal town.
