The event offered a wide-ranging programme of talks, workshops and wellbeing sessions, designed to raise awareness around key topics related to physical, emotional and personal health. Throughout the day, participants had the opportunity to explore subjects such as paediatric health, emotional wellbeing, nutrition, physiotherapy and personal development, in a welcoming and engaging environment.
With the participation of several professionals from different health and wellbeing areas, the initiative created valuable opportunities for knowledge sharing and open discussion. Families and visitors were encouraged to take an active role in the sessions, asking questions, exchanging experiences and reflecting on the importance of adopting healthy habits in everyday life.

The programme also included interactive activities, health screenings and dedicated wellbeing spaces, allowing participants of different ages to engage with the theme of health in a practical and accessible way. These moments helped make the event both informative and dynamic, reinforcing the importance of prevention and early awareness.
Beyond the talks and activities, the Open Day stood out as a moment of connection between the school, families and the wider community. The atmosphere throughout the event reflected CJD’s commitment to creating spaces where learning extends beyond the classroom and where wellbeing is understood as an essential part of education.

The initiative also highlighted the role schools can play in promoting healthy lifestyles and supporting the development of informed, balanced and confident young people. By bringing together education, health and community participation, CJD reinforced the importance of a holistic approach to student growth and family engagement.
The Health and Wellbeing Open Day was marked by strong participation, active involvement and a shared sense of purpose. It reflected CJD’s ongoing commitment to meaningful educational experiences that contribute not only to academic development, but also to personal, emotional and social wellbeing.
