The May 1st solidarity concert was at the Quarteira church, “Igreja de Nossa Sra da Conceição”, to raise funds for the Home of Quarteira.

On 19 June, the concert “Voices of Summer” took place at the Beach Hotel Dom José in Quarteira, where their guests were treated to a mixed program of jazz swing songs and musical theatre!

São Lourenço Singers is a friendly community choir of mixed singers who share a love of music and singing. Under the direction of choir director Joyce Whitelaw, they perform various charity concerts during the year, bringing joy to the audiences and supporting the local community.

“As choir director and composer, I get to write my own choral arrangements and share new music with my singers, which is highly rewarding.”
