The case was referred to the Judiciary Police (PJ), who were called to the scene to begin the investigation, after the authorities were alerted at 8:15 am, when a Chega deputy reportedly arrived at the location.

Reports from Diário de Notícias state that André Ventura's office showed signs of vandalism, with cabinets overturned and documents scattered on the floor, which led to the authorities being called to the scene.

At the moment, it is not possible to reveal whether any property was stolen from his office, nor the extent of the damage, which is still being assessed and remains the priority for the authorities. At the scene, the PJ collected evidence, preserved it, and determined the circumstances of the intrusion into André Ventura's office.

To assess the damage personally, André Ventura reportedly went to the Legislative Assembly. The leader of Chega also went to his office to see if any of his belongings were stolen. There is still no information on possible suspects in the act of vandalism, and the investigation is still being handled by the Civil Police.
