Screenings of “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” will feature a special re-release that includes 12 additional minutes of exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.

Directed by Chris Columbus and based on the literary universe created by J.K. Rowling, the film, originally released in the early 2000s, launched the careers of Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson, while featuring a cast that included Alan Rickman, Dame Maggie Smith, Robbie Coltrane, and Richard Harris.

The story follows the young protagonist’s entry into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and his initial confrontations with the villain Lord Voldemort.


This re-release of the first of the franchise’s eight feature films will be available at various cinema chains across the country, specifically at NOS and UCI theatres; tickets are already on presale, with prices starting at €5.90.
