During the solar eclipse on Wednesday, the 12th, these planes will fly over the eclipse's path at altitudes between 30,000 and 36,000 feet, or between approximately 9,000 and 11,000 meters, CNN Portugal reports.

According to the planned routes and schedules, passengers on the Barcelona-Lisbon and Palma de Mallorca-Lisbon flights will coincide with the totality of the eclipse, while nine other flights will fly over areas near the path, making it possible for passengers to partially observe the eclipse if the weather conditions allow it.

These are the routes between Lisbon and Barcelona; Bilbao and Alicante; Seville and Santiago de Compostela; Barcelona, ​​Ibiza, Valencia and Malaga with Paris; and Ibiza with Malaga and Seville, CNN Portugal reports.

Experts warn that looking at the sun without certified filters, even during partial phases, can cause serious and irreversible eye damage. Therefore, during the flight, Vueling will distribute certified goggles ensuring that passengers can safely observe the phenomenon through the aircraft windows with sufficient protection.
