Tom Holland recently visited Portugal with his wife, Zendaya, and enjoyed a holiday in Lisbon. However, this is not the first time Tom Holland has visited Portugal, as the Spider-Man star revealed that he has been visiting the country since his childhood, during family holidays.

He made this revelation in an interview with *Condé Nast Traveller* magazine in July. When asked about a recent trip he had taken, Holland, aged 30, revealed he had taken a short break to Portugal to celebrate his birthday the previous month.

On his most recent trip to Portugal, the British actor played golf to mark his 30th birthday, accompanied by his father and some friends from his school days. The actor also revealed that he usually flies with easyJet or TAP Air Portugal, having to try to go unnoticed at airports – something that reminds him of his childhood days when he used to travel with his family.

Portugal remains the actor’s favourite holiday destination, mainly due to the family trips he used to make to the country during his childhood. Tom Holland also confessed that he visits Portugal at least once a year to play golf. Although it is not known exactly where the actor plays the sport, some say that Tom Holland heads to courses in Comporta or on the outskirts of Lisbon.

During his trip, Tom Holland mentioned that he sampled some of the finest dishes of Portuguese cuisine, including grilled fish and piri-piri chicken – dishes he never misses whenever he visits Portugal.
