In 2021, rumours surfaced that George Clooney wanted to buy a house in Comporta; however, one of the actor's representatives denied the information. However, news has now emerged that George and Amal Clooney visited an apartment in Lisbon.

The information was revealed on the television program V+ Fama, which said that the couple was, at the beginning of September, visiting an apartment in the Infinity Tower in Lisbon. The apartment was the building's penthouse, among the most expensive in Lisbon.

The same source also says the deal is closed and that the Clooney couple bought a penthouse with a sale price of €5.5 million. The penthouse has 428 square metres, six bedrooms and is located on the 24th floor. It also has large glass surfaces with views over the city of Lisbon.

The Infinity Tower is located in Campolide, and the penthouse supposedly purchased by George Clooney also has five bathrooms, a balcony, a storage room, and a parking space.

The property also includes a condominium with an indoor and outdoor pool, a spa, a gym, a paddle tennis court, a sauna, a Turkish bath, and concierge service. The condominium, as announced, has a monthly cost of €1,500.
