Travelling through Faro Airport at around 12.15pm today proved to be a surprisingly pleasant experience, with passengers reporting no queues at either immigration or security.
All immigration gates were open, helping passengers move through the airport quickly and efficiently. Staff were also described as polite and helpful, adding to what was reported as an unusually smooth experience.
Security was equally straightforward, with no queues reported and passengers once again praising staff for their courteous and professional approach.
For many travellers, navigating airports can be one of the more stressful parts of a journey, particularly during busy periods when long lines at passport control and security can lead to delays.
However, today’s experience at Faro Airport was very different, with the entire process described as “a joy” from start to finish.
The positive experience comes as thousands of passengers continue to pass through Faro Airport, one of Portugal’s busiest gateways for international travellers, particularly during the holiday season.
