In the Livno highlands in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a local project protects endangered horses while using them in therapy for children with disabilities, helping them build confidence through interaction.

The programme is based in a mountain region known for strong traditions of horse-breeding, but with little infrastructure and access to therapy.
The next ambition for the project is to build a covered riding arena so more children can access the therapy regardless of weather or season.
