According to the forecasts of the Pollen Bulletin of the Portuguese Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (SPAIC), the entire mainland territory will be at low to moderate risk of pollen concentration between Friday and June 4th, especially from olive, pine, birch, cork oak and oak, trees, and from grasses, plantain, chenopodium, sorrel, nettle and nettles (including pellitory).

The concentration of pollen from these trees and grasses is predicted for the regions of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, Porto (Entre Douro e Minho), Coimbra (Beira Litoral region), and Castelo Branco (Beira Interior region).

For Lisbon (Lisbon and Setúbal region) and Faro (Algarve region), forecasts indicate a high concentration of pollen from olive, pine, cork, oak, and oak trees, excluding birch, while grasses, sorrel, plantain, chenopodium, nettle, and nettles (including pellitory) will remain high.

In Évora (Alentejo region), the high concentration will be of olive, pine, and cork oak trees, as well as grasses, sorrel, plantain, chenopodium, nettle, and pellitory.

In the autonomous regions, the situation will be one of low pollen concentration, with Funchal forecasts indicating pollen from cypress, pine, eucalyptus, and plane trees, as well as grasses, plantain, chenopodium, nettle, and pellitory. In Ponta Delgada (Autonomous Region of the Azores), the pollen from cypress (and/or cryptomeria) and pine trees, as well as from grasses, plantain, nettle and nettles (including pellitory), stands out.
