“With the aim of supporting the Pedala Portugal ride, taking place on 25 April Bridge next Sunday, 31 May, traffic on this bridge will be closed to traffic between 8:30 am and 10:30 am in the South/North direction (Almada/Lisbon), and will have one lane closed in the North/South direction (Lisbon/Almada), between 8 am and 10:30 am,” indicated the infrastructure concessionaire.

Lusoponte also said that the ride is part of the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of 25 April Bridge.

According to the organisers of Pedala Portugal, the ride is not competitive and will connect Lisbon, Almada, and Oeiras.

Another edition is also planned in Porto on 21 June, starting at Cais de Gaia, passing over the Dom Luís I Bridge, and finishing near the Jardim do Passeio Alegre.
